Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Feast & Find is an independent cruise-planning resource operated by Oleg and Zhanna. We publish editorial guides, a package calculator, and a curated gear list. We are not affiliated with any cruise line. If you have questions about this policy, email hello@feastandfind.com or use the contact form.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what the site needs to function:

• Information you give us directly. If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email, and message. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email. If you email us, we see your email address and whatever you chose to send.
• Information collected automatically. Standard web-server logs record your IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages viewed. If we use an analytics tool (currently evaluating; options include privacy-forward providers like Plausible), it may add anonymous usage metrics. Analytics tooling changes will be noted here.
• Cookies and similar technology. WordPress and our hosting layer set functional cookies (session, preferences). We may set a cookie to remember whether you’ve dismissed an on-page notice. Amazon sets its own cookies when you click an affiliate link from our site, see Section 5.

3. How we use the information

• Respond to questions or tips you send us.
• Deliver the newsletter to subscribers who opted in.
• Understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.
• Keep the site working (caching, security, uptime monitoring).

4. What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share your email address with any cruise line, travel agency, or unrelated third party.
• We do not run ad networks that track you across the web on our pages.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

5. Amazon Associates & affiliate links

Feast & Find participates in the Amazon Associates Program. Some links on our site, primarily on the Shop Our Full Kit page, are affiliate links. When you click one, Amazon sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. If you subsequently purchase, Feast & Find earns a small commission at no extra cost to you.

We have no access to what you view or purchase on Amazon beyond aggregated commission reports. Amazon’s privacy practices are governed by Amazon’s Privacy Notice, not this one.

6. Third-party service providers

We use a small set of operational providers to run the site. Each only receives the minimum information needed for its function:

• Hosting: Hostinger (page delivery, server logs).
• WordPress core + plugins: operational cookies, spam prevention.
• Email delivery: when a newsletter backend is connected, it will be named here.
• Analytics: when a provider is selected, it will be named here, along with whether it uses personal data.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including:

• The right to know what we’ve collected about you.
• The right to request deletion of your data.
• The right to correct inaccurate data.
• The right to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time (every email includes an unsubscribe link).

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@feastandfind.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.

8. Data retention

Contact-form messages: kept up to 24 months for follow-up reference, then deleted. Newsletter subscriber emails: kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs: typically 30–90 days, per our hosting provider’s defaults.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us: HTTPS in transit, limited-access hosting, current WordPress core. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send information in a contact form that you wouldn’t be comfortable with us holding in email form.

10. Changes to this policy

When we update this policy, we’ll revise the effective date above. Material changes may also be announced via the newsletter or a site notice.
